Hudson Valley Master Distiller David Nahmias and his wife Dorit are proudly the sole producers of Mahia in the United States. David learned to distill from his parents, Joseph and Tamou, and grandparents Saada and Moshe, who distilled Mahia in his home country of Morocco. 

Organic, New York grown rye is used for the Legs Diamond Whiskey. Nahmias et Fils' Mahia, is made 100% from figs.
