Located at the corner of Leonard and Richardson Streets in Brooklyn – the New York Distilling Company was founded by Tom Potter, and Allen Katz. Tom co-founder of Brooklyn Brewery in 1987 and serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board of the distillery. Allen is one of the nation’s leading experts on distilled spirits and cocktail in his other job as Director of the Spirits Education & Mixology for Southern Wine & Spirits of New York.
With exceptional gins and ryes, we strongly recommend stopping by the distillery for a tour, or head just next door to the Shanty for a craft cocktail.
